What to Know About Planning a Wedding in a Ballroom

Ballrooms boast to be the ultimate statement of luxury and class, providing a memorable experience for everyone. Guests get the celebrity treatment and feel like a million bucks, so you can just imagine how the stars of the show (you!) feel. Ballrooms are every vendor's dream to design, perform and photography. With excellent lighting, grand ceilings, staircases, chandeliers and plenty of space for entertainment and large wedding parties, one can never go wrong with booking a ballroom for the most important day of their life.

Booking considerations

There are a couple important things to consider when having your wedding in a ballroom:

❤️ Ballroom venues often have a closed vendor list, meaning you usually have to book vendors off of their vetted list of local businesses.

❤️ There is often not very good parking. Ballrooms are typically in very urban cities, making your guests often have to park in garages and venture to the venue on foot. Consider a shuttle system if that is the case with your selected venue.

❤️ Ballrooms have great relationships with nearby hotels. Check with your venue and their preferred hotels for discounts on hotel room blocks so your guests feel extra special ;)
